Aerial surveys of the feral horse populations in the Australian Alps National Parks and adjacent State forests have been conducted periodically over the past 2 decades. The most recent of these surveys were conducted in 4 survey blocks within the Kosciuszko National Park in October-November 2020, November 2022 and October 2023. The latest of these 3 surveys is reported on here.

The October 2023 survey report was updated in February 2024.
