BioNet system enhancements

Release notes 4.0

This release covers enhancements and bug fixes, predominantly to the BioNet Vegetation Classification applications. Additionally, all BioNet database, application and web service systems have been moved from local servers to Microsoft Azure cloud services.

BioNet is the repository of biodiversity data maintained by the Department of Planning and Environment and contains species sightings and systematic survey, vegetation classification and threatened biodiversity data collections used by a wide range of organisations. BioNet data are held across 3 separate website applications: BioNet Atlas, BioNet Vegetation Classification and BioNet Threatened Biodiversity Profiles.
