Scheyville National Park proposed licence: public consultation

We invite you to give feedback on a proposed licence to the Pitt Town and District Sports Club in Scheyville National Park by 4 October 2024.

What is the proposed licence?

We are considering granting a licence to The Pitt Town and District Sports Club Limited (ACN 002 503 540). This licence would allow the club to use specific areas of Scheyville National Park, as shown in the diagram, to:

  • maintain the sporting oval for community events such as sports, fundraisers, and gatherings
  • maintain and use the playground, pumphouse, septic treatment area, and docking area.

The proposed licence term is for an initial term of 10 years, with a 10-year option to renew, totalling a potential 20-year term.
