Our biodiversity conservation policies and guidelines help us manage biodiversity, assess impacts and monitor activities to support our work to protect the environment.

These policies help us meet our legislative responsibilities to protect the natural environment under:

  • the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016
  • Part 5A of the Local Land Services Act 2013
  • the Native Vegetation Act 2003
  • parts of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974.
